A New Year's Prayer
Lord, You make all things new
You bring hope alive in our hearts
And cause our Spirits to be born again.
Thank you for this new year-
For all the potential it holds.
Come and kindle in us
A mighty flame
So that in our time,
many will see the wonders of God
And live forever to praise Your glorious name.
What is your conception of the soul? What have you read that helps you care for your soul? This Sunday, January 8th we are beginning a new series. Click HERE for more information. See what people are saying about the soul on Pastor Erwin's Facebook page and post your own comments HERE.
When most people hear the word "pilgrim" they think of Plymouth Plantation and thanksgiving and black hats with belt buckles. But a pilgrim is actually "a person who journeys, especially a long distance, to some sacred place as an act of religious devotion: a traveler or wanderer, especially in a foreign place." (Dictionary.com) Which means we're all pilgrims on a spiritual journey. This Sunday in our class after worship, we continue to look at the classic story Pilgrim's Progess, to reflect on our own journeys of faith.
