And when they meet Jesus, they are always challenged to embrace a more authentic faith. As are we. This Lenten Sermon Series begins this Sunday, March 5th. It's one thing to learn about ways to experience God's presence. It's another to practice God's presence. That's what we'll be doing in Discovery Hour (our teaching/discussion time after worship) during the season of Lent. Pastor Erwin will facilitate, building on the class led by Rev. David Zuidema the past 3 weeks.
Every Tuesday evening during Lent at 7:30 p.m. in the chapel beginning on March 7th. This time of study and prayer will include excerpts from writings of different great spiritual figures to guide us in contemplation and conversations. For more information, see either Claire Darley or Peggy Grant.
This is one way that North reaches out to our community with the love of Christ by "feeding both the body and the soul." at the Phil's Place Meal. Volunteers are needed on Monday, March 6, 4-7PM to help set up, serve, and clean up. Please see one of the deacons if you are able to help with this ministry.
