Northside MuralThis Saturday, there's a very simple way to help our 3 Northside schools, and declutter your life all at the same time. Simple donate something you no longer need or want and Everything But The House will catalog it and sell it online. Donations are tax deductible and all proceeds will be split equally between Parker Woods Montessori, Chase Elementary and St. Boniface School. These funds will help the schools pay for a myriad of things that will serve to enhance the learning experience of each child. For more info, click HERE or simply bring your stuff to the Northside parking lot (Hamilton Ave at Lingo St.) this Saturday 10 AM - 2 PM.

Some have called Lent a time of retreat, a time when we focus more intensely on our personal spiritual lives. And we all have spiritual lives. This time of contemplation (away from distractions of our daily lives), allows us to spend time with God, ask God to come to us, or even better, to ask God to quiet our hearts and open our eyes to God's presence that is already there. God is always close to us, but we have to notice, be aware and be still. Come to the Lenten Study/Prayer time on Tuesdays, at 7:30PM in the chapel. It will help you do all that.

 Think About IT

"Prayer, meditation,

and confession

actually have

the power

to rewire

 the brain in a way

that can make us

less self-referential

and more aware

of how God sees us.

But these

impediments to sin

may not come easily."
