I’ve been Pastor of NorthChurch since 1987. You can do the math! After all this time, and all the ways both the congregation and neighborhood have changed, I’m still excited about what God is doing in and through NorthChurch. My formal education includes a Master of Divinity from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary (South Hamilton, MA) and a Doctor of Ministry from Columbia Theological Seminary (Decatur, Georgia), but I’m never done learning and growing. I have a personal mission statement: “To seek first the Kingdom of God and God’s righteousness, and to live and minister out of the integrity of my relationship with Christ.” My passion is for the church to be the extraordinary community of believers it is intended to be, and a hopeful sign of God’s transforming presence in the world. When I’m not doing something specifically related to that, I love riding my bicycle or reading, but mostly spending time with my amazing wife. SuzeAnn and I have been married since 1981 and we have a son, Andrew who is a circus arts performer. Which is also a fun story.
